digging in to the 2nd -
3rd CHAPTERS of Keith's book,
Keep the FAITH…Keep Your VISION”!

If you will read this book in its entirety, then you will be equipped to begin walking with the confidence and authority that Jesus Christ came and died to provide for us, in order that we may work *with* Him, be *fulfilled* in our work, lead a *successful life*, and...

Day #6 of 20-day Blog mini-series #2
Chapter TWO, "In Christ Jesus our Lord"

"In Christ Jesus our Lord"
(To retell where we left off...) Jesus said, "I and My Father are one. " (from John 10:27-38) Those who heard Him understood what He meant and considered it blasphemy. They charged Him with claiming to be Deity saying, "Thou, being a man, makest Thyself God." Jesus replied with the scripture that declares the same for God's people, "He called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken." Therefore, Jesus extends to all believers the status of Deity!
I can hear it now, "Whoa, Keith! You're going off the deep end there, aren't you?" I realize that this sounds like cult material, but there is a reason for that, and you need to know it. Cults and false religions have seized upon this and, aided by demonic influences, have erected counterfeit doctrines that discredit, and mask, the truth about this core teaching of Christianity. This is a very meaty topic, indeed, but the Bible Apostles did not shy away from dealing with it. Nevertheless, we always need to be wary of falling into doctrinal error because arriving at the proper conclusions concerning the meatier portions of scripture is no easy task, as we shall see.

Question to ponder:

Are you willing to oppose your old, flesh nature so you can keep pressin' in to the Truth the devil doesn't want you to know, or will you choose to surrender to your old nature?   _________________________________________

Keith's "Comments from the Author":

"Your old nature will oppose this, but do not let it succeed. The world will continually entice you with the deceitfulness of its riches, and the enemy of God and of our souls will try to stop you. You must fight to NOT let anything rob you of your successful life. You have the Lord's promise that He will be with you and He will not let the enemy harm even a hair of your head.
The essential things for our souls to have life everlasting and to bear abundant fruit 'in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ' are the very things freely given to us by God so that we could be partakers of the divine nature (see 2 Peter 1:2-11). Do you know what 'these things' are? If you cannot say what 'these things' are, then most probably they are not in you in abundance and you are on the road to failure. Simply writing about them here for you to read once will not make them in you in abundance. It is up to you to make the lifelong investment in your future. Keep in mind, God is waiting for you to turn away from your sin and turn toward Him, counting yourself as having been purged of your old sins, as Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 6:11, 'Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.' Hence, we are to consider ourselves already dead to sin and alive unto God through Christ.
The Apostle goes on to write that, if we will 'give diligence to make your calling and election sure' we will 'never fall.' Moreover, we will have an abundant entrance into 'the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.' That is, when we cross the finish line, we too will be champions of the faith, and our Lord and Savior will greet us with His own words of praise for us, 'Well done, good and faithful servant....' (Matthew 25:23)
What higher praise can a person expect? What greater indication of success can there ever be? Selah.
"

"Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
(Romans 6:11)
