In Loving Memory of our momma Judith Walker Shealy
August 25, 1944 – November 1, 2025
We pray for all who see this to unite with us in resting in an unquenchable passion for Christ Jesus’ teaching us, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:26-27).”
On that bright and cloudless morning, when the dead IN Christ shall rise,
And the glory of His Resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather in their Home beyond the sky,
And the roll is called up Yonder, I'll be there!
Momma Judi, we love you infinitely and will miss you beyond our ability to express with words!
We are eternally grateful to you for all of the love you have always poured out to each of us in your life and in so many wonderful ways!! On the one hand, our hearts are hurting to know that you are gone from us and no longer here with us. On the other hand, however, we are rejoicing with you, and for you, knowing that you have graduated into the loving arms of your and our Father God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit!
We love you and appreciate you eternally Momma Judi!
Born on August 25, 1944, she was the second daughter of Margaret Pryor Walker and Bob Walker.
She was an Alpha Iota at Croft Business College, graduating with honors in 1965. Judi approached life with purpose and precision. Her organization and attention to detail shone through in not only her career, but also in her beautifully-decorated home and perfectly-planned events. Her hospitality was unmatched—every gathering she hosted was filled with her signature understated elegance.
Judi is survived by her loving daughter, Kristin Noel Shealy, 3 devoted sons, William “Bill” Shealy (and late wife Mari), Wayne Shealy (and wife Sheri), and Keith Shealy (and wife Brenda), and her sister Sandra Miller (Lloyd). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Christopher (and wife Megan) Shealy, Matthew (and wife Typhani) Shealy, Justin Shealy, Logan Shealy, and Ethan Franklin. She was a cherished great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy.
Those who knew Judi will remember her for her impeccable taste, her thoughtful nature, and her determined spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, generosity, and class, both, in the spaces she created and the hearts she touched.
The visitation service in Judi’s honor was held Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Amory Funeral Home in Yorktown, Va and a graveside funeral service was held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Peninsula Memorial Park in Newport News, Va with Rev. David Price officiating.
Well done, thou good and faithful servant. (Matthew 25:21a)
