Victory that Comes to Us by THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD -- Ephesians 6:11-20

The Toward The Mark MINUTE about "I Don’t Have a Beef with You – It’s those Wicked Spirits" aiming us toward liberty and victory for ALL... countering satan and his wicked spirits by learning and sharing “who” we are, Whose we are, and what we are put on this earth to accomplish... Showing GOD BIG in a world that sees Him small.

As young Believers we kind of look at a suit of medieval armor; That's the first thing we think about when we hear of “the whole armor of God”. The thing is it’s NOT "a suit" of armor; IT’S GOD… Himself. If you listen to what (Ephesians 6:11-20) says, we are to put on the whole armor OF God... Himself. Be one "i-n Him" and one with Him.

The Scripture says in John 14:15-26 that we abide "in" Him, we make our abode "in" Him, we "reside" (or have "our residence") IN "GOD". I'm going to tell you, no unclean spirit in hell or flopping around the earth is going to try to get at us by a frontal attack on God. It's not possible. The beautiful thing about it is, the full armor of God, among so many other countless benefits it provides for us, it provides us with total protection.

4 min., 57 sec.

If you study The Scriptures, you also see in Proverb 18:10 where God is called our "strong tower", that the righteous run IN to and are saved; “our strong tower IS God”. See (in Matthew 6:33), seek ye first "the Kingdom of God"; the Kingdom that IS God... NOT a castle that's on a cloud. The same way as “the armor of God” IS GOD, Himself. It’s not a "suit of" armor; the Armor IS God.

IN God is where we reside continually. Look at the particular (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18) Scripture that says we are to pray without ceasing. That passage is on the same line as (Ephesians 3:17-19) we are to dwell in God continually. We are to pray without ceasing. In other words, we are in continual communication with God. We don't ever break those lines... always listening and speaking out to Him. Exactly. Always God-conscious. And these are things we have to understand to be effective at seeing those unclean and wicked spirits in our lives be pulled down in the earth, so that we can work with God as His children, as His beloved heirs to the promise.

We have got to understand first how this enemy works and how we combat him. You know the (2 Corinthians 10:3-6) Scripture that talks about taking every thought captive. Why do we take every thought captive? Because those thoughts that so often come against us are from unclean wicked spirits and they come to steal, kill, and destroy. The Bible says (in John 10:10-29) that the devil comes not but for to steal, kill, and destroy our being able to rest in and relax in the reality of who we are and "Whose" we are. But satan is going to continually work. Satan's unclean spirits are going to continually work... to keep us from resting on the lap of God, to keep us from being able to enjoy God, from being able to rest our head on God's chest and listen to His heartbeat, and just enjoy, not doing, but just being. You see that? Just being. There is a concerted effort that continually takes place to keep us from our Father.

This point has got to be right in front of us, because it's so important to know. And the only way is to know God's written Word and wait and listen for God’s spoken Word. We read and listen, and that’s how we “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33)”... and all of our needs and supplications will be added to us. That's really powerful to know in order to know how to fight who the enemy truly is... it's not “flesh and blood”, not a person or people; it's the unclean spirits and the devil and his demons working through individual persons that are “willing vessels”.

Satan is like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:6-11), walking about looking for whom he may devour. And if he's looking, that means there are people that know about his ploys and plot. So, it stands to reason that he has to “walk around to seek” out those who don't know, those with a lack of knowledge of God and His Word.

Speaking of Satan, the devil, walking around like a roaring lion, I've heard some people say something interesting. They say that Jesus Christ, after He died and was resurrected to Life after three days, one of the things He did when He took the keys to death, hell, and the grave from the devil was to use a pair of pliers and pull “the roaring lion’s” teeth out. That’s a great visual and, really, when we learn how to trust in God, rest in God, and wait on God, we "enter IN" to God.

Once we learn to trust in God, rest in God, and wait on God, and are entered IN-to God, at that point is when we can work side-by-side with our Father. We begin oyfully fulfilling His plan and purpose for our own Life and for our part in everything He created in this universe. And, moreover IN Christ, not only are we protected against the dangers and demonic activity, Him being our "armor" also means we're ready to go into the battle, which means we are ready to go on "offense" as well, right!!??

The Word Of The Only Wise God ...

"Just one Word from God will change your life FOREVER!"~Keith (and BrendaLee) Shealy

GOD SPEAKS in Truth to those who seek Him with their whole heart. But, what is the Truth He speaks in, or through? Jesus teaches us that The Word of God is Truth. So then, what is The Word of God, really?

Whenever I have asked this question to a group in various settings, the responses were most often the same. The individuals would raise their Bibles in the air saying, “This is God’s Word!” As true as that is, however, that response still falls short of God’s original purpose for giving us the scriptures. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1)." “His name is called The Word of God (Revelation 19:13)." Jesus is The Word of God! God gave us His written Word, not as "an end" in and of itself, but as a means to an end! His ultimate goal is that we have an intimate relationship with Him by being transformed through The Word of Truth. As Jesus said in John 8:31-32, "If ye continue in My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know The Truth, and The Truth shall make you free."

That statement raises the question, "How does The Truth make us free?" The following verses are but a very small sampling of many Scriptures throughout The Holy Bible that can answer that question for us, in part or in whole. "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8)." “Be filled with The Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and The Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:18-20)." “My mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips: When I remember Thee upon my bed, and meditate on Thee in the night watches (Psalm 63:5-6)." "(God is) my Maker, Who gives songs in the night (Job 35:10)." “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by The Word of God (Romans 10:17)."

In order to be made free by the Truth of God’s Word, we must, in faith, submit our time to The Spirit of God by reading His Word, memorizing it, thinking upon it, singing it—all through the day and through the night. Through the continual planting (reading, speaking, hearing, memorizing, meditating, and singing) of God’s Word into the soil of our souls, the transformation of our souls takes place. The Truth makes us free. We do not know how this happens, neither do we need to understand this for it to take place. "And He said, So is The Kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear (Mark 4:26-28)."

So, we can draw a parallel between The Truth that is able to make us free and our being able to watch a plant grow without ever knowing how it is happening. We accept it by faith and live in obedience to God’s Holy Word. Similarly, this concept of The Truth making us free is also found in John 6:63, "It is The Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life.” The definition of the word “quickeneth” or “to quicken” is to make alive. Hence, the words of The Gospel that Jesus Christ preached, when administered into our spirit by The Holy Spirit, will bring the Life of Christ Jesus into our being. So, when we sow of The Spirit into our souls day and night, then no matter what may come upon us, out of the abundance we have sown shall come forth praises and thanksgiving to God, with godly deeds revealing the character of Christ. Jesus said, "He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38)."

As we faithfully meditate on the written Word of God, the time will come when we will enter the most wonderful place of all—the place where we actually hear the Spoken Word or Voice of God. This is where the fullness or abundance of Life truly begins! You see, it is really very simple; reading The written Word of God under the tutelage of The Holy Spirit prepares us to recognize and hear the voice of God when He speaks to us! This is what Jesus meant when He said, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4)." This is also what is meant by “ye shall know The Truth, and The Truth shall make you free.” The written Word of God is simply the doorway into our being able to recognize and hear The spoken Word, the Voice of God Himself. This ability to hear God’s Voice is part of the most valuable prize of all, a close and intimate relationship with the true and living God!

Do you see why it is so important that we learn and obey the written word? Because it lays the groundwork for our being able to hear our Father when He speaks to us. It is only by His Spoken word or Voice that we can receive His anointing and be led into all good things. Only through our pursuing this kind of intimate relationship with God can we obtain a true life of integrity! "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105)."

If we want the abundant Life that Jesus came to provide for us, then we have got to be diligent in seeking after Him with our whole heart! We must be diligent to position ourselves for listening to hear His Voice and for obeying His every Word! "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have Life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10)." Our ultimate goal, every day, is to constantly grow in knowing The written Word of God so we recognize His Voice above any other! Jesus said, "My sheep hear My Voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal Life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My Hand (John 10:27-28)." Those who study to hear The Word of The Only Wise God, and who also listen to obey the Voice of our Father God, will always send up a sweet-smelling aroma that will bring pleasure to the Heart of our Almighty Heavenly Father!

If you have not invited Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Lord and Savior in your life, stop right where you are and pray this in communication with God, "Father God, in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and The Lord of all lords, I lay my life at Your Feet. I come before You, confessing that I am a sinner, and I ask for You to forgive me of all my sins - those that I know I have committed, as well as those that I am not even aware of.  I ask that You come into my heart and be my Lord. I lay my life, and everything in it, at Your Feet, and ask that You please take me and begin to change me to be like YOU. I ask that You redeem the time that has passed, and allow me the opportunity to become exactly what You have predestined me to be, from before the foundation of the earth. I commit my life to You now, and thank You for receiving me as Your own. In the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, I pray, Amen."  And AMEN!

Every one of the sons and daughters of The Most High God need, and do well to heed, the words of wisdom from Apostle Paul's writing in Philippians 4:8-9, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." Selah... Amen (Let it be so as we pray in The Name of Christ Jesus)!

THANK YOU for choosing to plug in at the Pressin'IN Blog of TTM!

One great Truth Keith shares from all he has learned through 40 years of walking in oneness with God is, as Jeremiah says best, "Blessed is the man that trusts in The Lord, and whose hope The Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:7-8)."

We must challenge ourselves to watch for and record the breakthroughs God helps us to press in to pursue and recognize, daily, as James 4:7 promises, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7)."

Halleluia! We look forward to hearing how we can stand with you in celebrating your wonder-full life with Jesus Christ being mentored by The Holy Spirit! God bless you,

Our first DAILY blog for each Weekday in JUNE!

ground-breaking JOURNEY

Keep the FAITH…Keep Your VISION”!

If you will read this book in its entirety, then you will be equipped to begin walking with the confidence and authority that Jesus Christ came and died to provide for us, in order that we may work *with* Him, be *fulfilled* in our work, lead a *successful life*, and...

Day TWENTY-ONE,
Paragraph
TWENTY-ONE:

Many, many times in Scripture we find God saying, "Fear not, for I am with thee." To those who are being cut down and despised by others, or by their own old nature, in lying attempts to prevent them from fulfilling the high calling of God, God's answer to Gideon will suffice: "And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man." (Judges 6:14-16)

Question to ponder:

How does it make you feel to know that, as you work with God to fulfill all of what He put you on earth to fulfill, no weapon that is formed against you can prosper?  _________________________________________

Keith's "Comments from the Author":

"So often in my walk with God, I have felt as if I was fighting with one hand to hold at bay the attempts of wicked spirits and the continual haunting of my old flesh nature, and with the other hand working to fulfill, with God, the purpose for which He has created and assigned me to, while here on earth. Like Gideon, I have battled doubts and fear along the way. The fear was that whatever it was that I would step out to do might not represent God accurately. Perhaps satan's most often-used weapon against me was false accusations, continually lying to me that my heart's deepest desire to represent God as the loving Father He is, is falling on deaf ears. Another lie that I have heard continually has been 'You are invisible' meaning that whatever I stepped out to do to bring glory to God's Name was never noticed. That lie, to someone who truly loves God, is probably the most hurtful because, if that lie makes its way into your thinking, it brings with it another lie that everything that you do next will be inadequate, suggesting that you shouldn't waste your time and you're better off leaving the sharing of the Gospel up to others who are 'really' called. However, as I've grown in my working with God to fulfill His passion, I've learned the reality that God is our Strong Tower, our Refuge, our Provider and, as long as we are in Him, we are protected, safe, and provided for because we are working *with* God and not *for* Him. The more we understand and walk in this, we will begin to see working in our lives what the Scripture verse Isaiah 54:17 promises, 'No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.' This doesn't mean that the accusations will not come or that satan's efforts to steal, kill and destroy us will stop. It does mean, however, that our being in God, we have available to us all that is God. And, concerning what we're talking about now, we have available to us understanding and truth. Understanding and truth dis-spell the lies of the enemy. This is why satan and his minions work so hard to distract us away from getting understanding and truth. Only in the absence of understanding and truth is satan able to convince people that God is not all-powerful and, even more, that God doesn't really exist. His goal, ultimately, is to separate us from reality. The reality is that, whatever satan throws at us, the opposite is the truth! For example, if you repeatedly hear 'You're stupid', reality is 'God has wired in you brilliance.' In my quest for the truth of how satan is able to pull off these deceptions, the Person of the Holy Spirit imparted this life-changing truth to me: (please read this very slowly and get this into your understanding, because you'll be amazed at how often you'll see this turn around in your mind and heart the deceptive lies of satan) 'When a wicked spirit takes over a person, it will accuse those around that person of being what it is and doing what it does for the purpose of masking its existence in that person's body.' Now, the next time unclean spirits accuse you through a person, examine your heart and ask yourself these questions: 'Is there any truth to this? Is there an indication here of an area of my life that I need to work on? Or is this an unclean spirit that has been set against me, working through a person, to hinder the fulfillment of what God has called me to do with Him in this life?' When satan's false accusations come, whether delivered through a willing person or directly to you through thoughts he whispers in your ear making them seem like your own, remember, 'These battles of life are fought in the mind and, in order to overcome the enemy and his lies and distractions, we must know God and His Word.' If we read God's written Word, and depend on the Person of the Holy Spirit sent by God to explain it to us and be our divine Tutor, then we learn what God originally meant as He put it on the hearts of the prophets to write each word of the Scriptures. As we read God's written Word, while depending on the Person of the Holy Spirit sent by God, we familiarize ourselves, little by little, with the way God does things. Then, as we learn God's written Word, we will begin to recognize God's spoken Word and His Voice when He whispers to us. The Scriptures have been given to us for the purpose of, among others, familiarizing us with the voice of our Father. And, I can tell you from experience, from that first time that you hear the voice of God, you realize how mighty He is, and how insignificant satan is in trying to hinder you from fulfilling all of what God has put you here on earth to do. So, as God told Gideon, we encourage you, 'Go in this thy might, and... (the LORD) will be with thee.'"

"And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. (Judges 6:14-16)
