When a Believer Receives the Baptism in The Holy Spirit

God is able to move a Christian from Blessing to Power when he or she receives the "Baptism in The Holy Spirit".  Here are 7 Parts of the “Blessing”:

1:  Jesus Christ becomes much BIGGER in your life WITH HIM as your understanding of Him is MAGNIFIED through the tutelage of The Holy Spirit …
John 16:13-16

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.
16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

2:  In your daily Christian walk in communion with Him, He leads you to a stronger assurance of your Christian Life …
Romans 8:14-18

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

3:  The Holy Bible becomes "alive" in your daily study, as you spend time in "rendezvous with Him" in God's Holy written Word …
John 16:12-15

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it to you.

4:  He enriches your prayer Life leading you into a new dimension of prayer …
Jude 18-23

18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

5:  He ushers you into an experience of the fullness of the love of the Person of God …
Romans 5:3-7

3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope makes not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

6:  He helps you discover the real, indescribably joy in The Holy Ghost …
Romans 14:14-19

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteems any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now you are not walking in charity. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things is serving Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

7:  He leads you into becoming effective in your individual, unique function in The Body of Christ …
Acts 1:6-14

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, you men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This one same Living Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a Sabbath day's journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

ADD:
1 Corinthians 12:1-14
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which works all in all.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another diverse kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these works that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Matthew 8:22 (Christ Jesus appeals to us to follow Him rather than to be as “the dead in spirit” or as “dominated by left-brain, egocentric, thinking beings”)
Mark 15:27 (Faith over calamity!!!)

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
Your Comforter, Wise Counsel, and so much more, Holy Spirit.

If you have not invited Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Lord and Savior in your life, stop right where you are and pray this in communication with God, "Father God, in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and The Lord of all lords, I lay my life at Your Feet. I come before You, confessing that I am a sinner, and I ask for You to forgive me of all my sins - those that I know I have committed, as well as those that I am not even aware of.  I ask that You come into my heart and be my Lord. I lay my life, and everything in it, at Your Feet, and ask that You please take me and begin to change me to be like YOU. I ask that You redeem the time that has passed, and allow me the opportunity to become exactly what You have predestined me to be, from before the foundation of the earth. I commit my life to You now, and thank You for receiving me as Your own. In the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, I pray, Amen."  And AMEN!

Every one of the sons and daughters of The Most High God need, and do well to heed, the words of wisdom from Apostle Paul's writing in Philippians 4:8-9, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you." Selah... Amen (Let it be so as we pray in The Name of Christ Jesus)!

THANK YOU for choosing to plug in at the Pressin'IN Blog of TTM!

One great Truth Keith shares from all he has learned through 40 years of walking in oneness with God is, as Jeremiah says best, "Blessed is the man that trusts in The Lord, and whose hope The Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:7-8)."

We must challenge ourselves to watch for and record the breakthroughs God helps us to press in to pursue and recognize, daily, as James 4:7 promises, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7)."

Halleluia! We look forward to hearing how we can stand with you in celebrating your wonder-full life with Jesus Christ being mentored by The Holy Spirit! God bless you,
...and the TTM Family!

Weekly Wisdom: True LEADERS Speak LIFE!

The tongue of the WISE is Health.  -Proverbs 12:18b

Where “Sticks and stones may break some bones..." words spoken in the wrong way can cause even worse damage to a person’s heart!  Psalm 57:4 explains, “My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
You see, you don't need a knife or a gun to commit murder!  Sowing weed seed, by speaking wrong words over the life of a person, leads to death if it isn't rooted out.  Luke teaches us that, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:45)
We can turn the tide of destruction in the lives of those around us who are listening!  We need to truly understand this!  PEOPLE'S LIVES CAN BECOME FORMED INTO EXACTLY WHAT WE SAY, Death and life are in the power of the tongue...” (Proverbs 18:21a) so ... SPEAK LIFE!

Thank you for joining us as we

...
digging in to the 2nd -
3rd CHAPTERS of Keith's book,
Keep the FAITH…Keep Your VISION”!

If you will read this book in its entirety, then you will be equipped to begin walking with the confidence and authority that Jesus Christ came and died to provide for us, in order that we may work *with* Him, be *fulfilled* in our work, lead a *successful life*, and...

Days #19 and #20 of 20-day Blog mini-series #2
Chapter THREE, "Rightly Dividing The Word of Truth"

"Rightly Dividing The Word of Truth"
Paul, knowing full well that obtaining success in God's eyes requires that we are to be like-minded with Christ, wrote to the Christians in Rome, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2) Our natural minds are most assuredly not reliable witnesses of the truth of God's Word, because The Word of God is foolishness to our minds. The only way out of this is through the renewing of our minds. Then, and only then, we "may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." But, before our minds can be renewed, we must receive the gift of The Holy Spirit!  Receiving Him is absolutely essential for the renewing of the mind. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. " (2 Timothy 1:7)
God has given us The Spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind - The Person of The Holy Spirit - and our part is to receive Him, and not quench Him (from 1 Thessalonians 5:19). Even so, there are many who teach against receiving the gift of The Holy Ghost, saying that the gift was for a time that is in the past, not for today, or saying some other nonsense. James, the Apostle and half brother of Jesus, wrote, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." (James 1:17) The gift of The Holy Ghost is most certainly a perfect gift from The Father of lights. Since, with God there "is no variableness, neither shadow of turning", meaning God is not fickle, whimsical, or unreliable, then He most certainly offers the gift of The Holy Ghost to each one of us today, just like He offered the gift to each and every person who lived since He arrived on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). So, I ask again, have you received the gift of The Holy Spirit? For we need His witness to the truth as we continue on to the next chapter, to the exciting discussion regarding the great mystery of godliness (as Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 3:16). Selah.

Question to ponder:

What can you do to prepare to conduct your relationships God's way?   _________________________________________

Keith's "Comments from the Author":

"Recently I was talking to a friend whose wife had left him some time ago. As we talked, I noticed his heart was heavy. I asked him if there was anything he would like to share with me concerning his obvious struggle with the situation he was dealing with. He immediately replied, 'I feel so alone. Why doesn't God send me someone to make me happy, and to take the sadness away?' Though my answer was not what he was wanting to hear at that moment, I am confident that what I was able to share with him helped him to get on the pathway to obtaining the fulfillment he was so desperately craving. What I said went something like this...

'God is jealous where our finding fulfillment in Him is concerned.  For that reason, God would never equip a person with what only He has intended to be The Source to provide to us.  We must go to God!  In other words, just like we can't squeeze water from rocks, we can't find fulfillment from people.  In fact, when we set unreal expectations of people, looking to our mate, friend, or other personal relationship for what we can ONLY get by going to God, we are setting those relationships up for failure!  The ever-increasing rate of divorce, correctional custody, and suicide is evidence that we lack understanding of that very truth!  If we want to have a successful life in marriage, courtship, and relationships, we must place our faith in God, The Author of marriage, courtship, and relationships.  If we place our faith in another person or relationship apart from God, we build ourselves, and others, up for failure - an unstable, unfulfilling, dishonest relationship awaits.  We build ourselves and others up for success when we pursue and conduct courtship and other relationships *by The Book*.'

In short, we must discipline ourselves to read God's Word daily, to ask and listen for The Person of The Holy Spirit to explain to us what it means, and to renew our mind's old way of thinking, about relationships or anything else, by replacing it with God's way of thinking.  Then, and only then, we can be on our way to unveiling the secret to a successful life, a relationship with God as your Source for sure fulfillment, wholeness, joy, peace, and much much more!  The moral of the story is ...

... you do n-o-t want to meet the 'prepared', unprepared.
... you do n-o-t want to be a deficit in a relationship, rather than an asset.
... you w-a-n-t to prepare yourself to conduct your relationships according to God's design for them to work.
... you w-a-n-t 'The Designer of Holy Matrimony and Godly Friendships' to lead your pursuit of the great mystery of godliness (next in the book).
... you simply w-a-n-t to follow the process God wired to work so you ...
    ... #KeepTheFAITH  #KeepYourVISION  #FinishTriumphant! Selah."

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
(Romans 12:2)
